Questions and answers

Quick answers about prices, the free trial, accounts, cancelling, refunds, storage, offline use, using your art in games and getting help.

#Plans and billing

#How much does it cost?

Pick apps à la carte for $3 each a month, or a bundle: Starter $9 (any 5 apps), Professional $19 (any 10) or Unlimited $29 (every app, including future ones). Prices are in US dollars; sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. See Plans and billing.

#Is there a free trial?

Yes, 14 days on any plan, once per person. A payment card is needed to start it. You're charged only when the trial ends, and you can cancel before then without paying anything. We email you a reminder before the trial ends.

#Can I change apps or plans later?

Any time, from My Plan on your account page. Swapping apps within your plan is instant. Upgrades take effect right away and you see the prorated charge before you confirm; downgrades start at your next renewal.

#How do I cancel?

In My Plan, or through Manage billing. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for and aren't charged again. Changed your mind? You can reactivate before that date.

#Can I get a refund?

Yes: within 48 hours of your first charge, use Cancel and refund in My Plan. It refunds that charge in full and ends the plan straight away (once per account). Later monthly renewals aren't refundable.

#I have a promo code. Where does it go?

On the Pricing page, in the Have a code? box before checkout, so the discount shows before you pay. Codes for a free plan unlock without needing a card.

#Your account and your work

#Do I need an account?

Yes. One Pixx account (free to create) holds your trial or plan and signs you in to every app on every device. pixxsuite.com itself, the app gallery, Pricing, these Docs and Support are open to everyone.

#How much cloud storage do I get?

À la carte includes 10 MB per app you choose, pooled together; Starter 50 MB, Professional 100 MB and Unlimited 200 MB. Your work always saves on your device as well; the cloud copy (with its last 10 versions) lets your other devices open it.

#What's the difference between Cloud and Library?

Cloud keeps an app's full, editable project for that app. The Library holds finished items (images, animations, sprite sheets, palettes, sounds) that any Pixx app can open. See Cloud projects and your Library.

#What happens to my work if my plan ends?

Nothing is deleted right away. Your cloud work stays viewable and downloadable for 30 days; we email you the exact date before the cloud copies are deleted. Subscribing again before then keeps everything. Work saved on your own device is yours and stays there.

#Can I use what I make in my games?

Yes. You own everything you create and export, including for commercial projects. The presets, kits and generated parts inside the apps can be used in your own work; they just can't be resold as standalone asset packs. See the Terms for details.

#Using the apps

#Do the apps work offline?

Yes. Once your plan has unlocked an app in your browser, it keeps working without a connection for up to a week and saves to your device. Cloud sync catches up when you're back online. See Install and use offline.

#Which browsers work?

Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop, iPad and phones. A few export formats (animated WebP) depend on the browser and say so when they're unavailable.

#Can I move work from one app to another?

Yes, with Send to App at the top of every app. See Send to App for what each app sends and opens.

#Why does an app show a lock screen?

That app isn't part of your current plan or trial, or your plan has ended. Use the buttons on the lock screen to start a trial, see plans or add the app. If you just subscribed, refresh the page after a few seconds.

#Help

#How do I get help?

Use the Support page or email support@pixxsuite.com and we'll reply by email. Each app's guide here also has a troubleshooting section.
