The short version
- Every Pixx app works without an account. Your work is processed and saved in your browser, on your device.
- If you create an account, we store your email, your name and the projects you choose to sync, so your other devices can open them.
- We do not sell your data, show ads, use advertising or analytics trackers, or set tracking cookies.
- You can delete your account — and every project stored with it — at any time, from any Pixx app.
1. Using the apps without an account
Images, frames, palettes, fonts and other files you open are processed locally by your browser. Projects, settings and presets are kept in your browser's own storage (local storage and IndexedDB) on that device. Nothing you make is sent to us unless you sign in and save or sync it.
2. Your Pixx account
When you create an account we store:
- Email address — to sign you in, confirm the account and send password-reset links.
- Name (optional, what we call you in the apps).
- Password — stored only as a one-way hash (bcrypt); we never see or store the password itself.
- Sign-in sessions — a random token per signed-in device (stored on our server only as a hash), a device label such as "iPad · Pixxivi", and when it was created and last used. Sessions expire after 60 days without use.
- One-time links and codes — email confirmation, password reset and the codes that carry your sign-in from one Pixx domain to another; each is stored as a hash, works once and expires (minutes to days).
3. Projects you sync
When you save to your Pixx cloud or turn on sync, we store the project file, a small preview image, its name, size and timestamps, which app it belongs to, and up to the last 10 versions so you can restore earlier work. Items you send between apps ("Send to…", your Pixx library) are stored the same way. Your projects are private to your account; we do not look at them except when needed to keep the service running or when required by law.
4. Security and abuse prevention
To stop password guessing and spam, we record failed sign-in and email-request attempts for a short time, keyed by a hash of your email address and/or your network (IP) address; these records are deleted automatically within about a day. Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs (IP address, date, the page requested, browser type) for security and operations.
5. Email
We send only service emails: account confirmation, password resets and messages about your account. Emails are sent from no-reply@pixxsuite.com through our hosting provider's mail service.
6. Cookies and local storage
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. The apps store your sign-in session and preferences in your browser's local storage on each Pixx domain so you stay signed in; signing out removes it. The apps may also cache their own files so they work offline.
7. Who processes your data
Your account and projects are stored on servers operated by our hosting provider, [HOSTING PROVIDER, e.g. GoDaddy], located in [COUNTRY/REGION]. We do not share your personal data with anyone else except where required by law or to protect the service and its users.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your account and synced projects while your account exists. Older project versions beyond the most recent 10 are deleted automatically. When you delete your account, we delete your account record, sessions and every stored project and version straight away (backups held by the hosting provider roll off within [PERIOD]).
9. Your choices and rights
- Access, export and correction: open any project in its app and export it; change your password in your account settings; contact us to correct your name or email.
- Deletion: delete individual cloud projects from "Your work" on pixxsuite.com, or delete your whole account from the account dialog in any app.
- Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA) you may have further rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing. Contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL] and we will respond within [30] days.
10. Children
The Pixx Suite is not directed at children under [13 / 16], and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will let account holders know by email or in the apps.
