#What you'll learn
- How to change which apps and which plan you have without surprises.
- How storage is counted, and the fastest ways to free space.
- How to keep several devices in step, and how to secure an account you used on a shared computer.
- How to control analytics cookies and time tracking.
- What happens to your work when a plan ends, and how to get it back.
#Before you start
- You have a Pixx account. If not, start with Your Pixx account.
- You've read the plans in Plans and billing. This guide goes further on the day-to-day.
- Most of what follows lives in two places: Account → My Plan on pixxsuite.com, and Dashboard in the pixxsuite.com menu.
#How-tos
#How to swap apps in your plan
- Go to Account → My Plan and click Edit apps.
- Pick the apps you want. The counter shows how many slots your plan has left.
- Confirm. Swaps within your plan's limit take effect immediately. On À la carte, adding an app shows the extra monthly charge before you confirm.
#How to move up or down a plan
- Go to Account → My Plan and click Change plan, or click Switch on another plan on the Pricing page.
- Read the summary before you confirm:
- Upgrades apply right away, with a prorated charge for the rest of the month.
- Downgrades apply at your next renewal. You keep your current apps until then.
- During your free trial, changes are immediate and free.
Moving to a smaller plan can leave you over its storage limit. Nothing is deleted: you can still view, download and delete, but new cloud saves pause until you're back under. See the next how-to.
#How to free up storage
- Open Dashboard on pixxsuite.com and look at Storage by app and the list of your largest items.
- Go to My work, choose the Projects (per app) tab and sort by Largest first or Most versions.
- Click Select, choose what you no longer need and delete it. The space you'll free is shown before you confirm.
- Do the same on the Shared assets tab for Library items you've finished with.
Every stored version counts. The cloud keeps up to 10 versions of each project, so one project you saved many times can take several times its own size. Deleting the project frees all of its versions.
#How to keep two or more devices in step
- Sign in on each device. Your plan, cloud projects, Library and Flow follow your account everywhere.
- Before you switch devices, save to the cloud (Cloud → Save to cloud) in the app you were using.
- On the other device, open the project from Cloud → Open from cloud….
Some settings also follow you once you're signed in, such as Pixxoku's saved rule sets and your cookie choice, so a new device doesn't ask again.
#How to secure your account after using a shared computer
- On any device, click your name at the top right and open Sign out.
- Choose Sign out on all devices. Every device, including the shared one, has to sign in again.
- If you think someone saw your password, use Change password next. Your other devices will ask you to sign in with the new password.
#How to choose what is tracked
- Analytics cookies: click Cookie settings in the pixxsuite.com footer, or at the bottom of the account window in any app. Choose Accept analytics or Decline analytics. Your choice applies to every Pixx Suite site, and is saved to your account when you're signed in.
- Time tracking: open Dashboard and switch off Track my time in the apps. Use Clear history to delete what was already recorded. Flow's time reports use the same tracking.
Declining analytics never limits what you can do in the apps.
#When a plan ends
| What happens | |
|---|---|
| The apps | Lock, but your account stays and you can still sign in |
| Cloud projects and Library | Stay viewable and downloadable for 30 days. We email you the exact date before they're deleted |
| Work saved in your browser | Stays on that device; it's yours |
| Flow | Closed for you; your teammates keep working, and your team, flows and runs are kept |
| Subscribing again before the date | Cancels the deletion; everything is kept |
#Tips and shortcuts
- We email you when your storage reaches 80%, 95% and 100%.
- A single project file can be up to 50 MB.
- Changing your name in Account updates it everywhere, including Flow teams and comments.
- Manage billing in My Plan opens the secure billing page for your card, invoices and receipts.
- Deleting your account removes every cloud project and Library item in every app and ends your subscription immediately. It can't be undone.
#Troubleshooting
- Cloud saves are refused with "storage is full". You're over your plan's limit. Free space as described above, or move to a bigger plan.
- An app shows its lock screen even though I have a plan. That app isn't one of your chosen apps. Use Edit apps in My Plan.
- A device keeps asking me to sign in. You changed your password or signed out everywhere. Sign in once with your current password.
- The cookie banner keeps coming back on one site. That browser may be blocking site storage (private windows often do). Sign in so your choice is saved to your account.
- My work from a cancelled plan is gone. It was deleted 30 days after the plan ended. Work saved in your browser on a device may still be there; open the app on that device.
